2025 Purses With Purpose Charity Event (SOLD OUT)

2024 Purses with Purpose The 2025 “Purses with Purpose Charity Event”, hosted by the GFWC North Myrtle Beach Woman’s Club, is scheduled for Thursday, April 10, 5:30 PM in the Nautilus Ballroom at Marina Inn Grande Dunes in Myrtle Beach.

Over 300 participants attend the evening, which includes a delicious dinner buffet, music, and a very entertaining live auction with handsome local male models showcasing designer purses contributed by celebrities, local women of distinction, and organizations.

Historically models pranced and danced to win the highest bid for their purse from some very competitive lady bidders, as shown in the below image.

A large silent auction with delightful gift baskets chocked full of gift certificates for services and restaurants, cosmetics, jewelry, spa treatments, weekend getaways, and other niceties, are sure to whet the bidding appetite of guests.

The “Bubbles and Bling” raffle includes a wheelbarrow with 80 bottles of wine donated by club members and the “Bling” includes gorgeous pieces of designer jewelry . Door prizes will be awarded during the evening.

Chairperson Jeri McCumbee will emcee the event. At the opening, NMBWC President Kathy Heagen will award the club’s Purses with Purpose Inspiration Award for women exemplifying inspirational initiatives.

This year marks the 12th anniversary of Purses with Purpose Charity Event. We are incredibly grateful for the unwavering support of so many businesses and of our top-tier sponsors, many of whom return year after year to help make this event a success. We are especially honored to have Elliott Realty as our Title Sponsor once again.

Sponsorship opportunities are still available at the $250, $500, and $1,000 levels, offering businesses and individuals a chance to make a meaningful impact in our community.

The funds raised from this event directly benefit organizations supporting, youth, children, and women as well as others facing hardships in our community. A portion of the proceeds is specifically designated to domestic violence initiatives and scholarships for North Myrtle Beach High School Seniors.
